Finding files by extension on Mac OSX

I frequently need to find files of a specific extension in a directory on my Mac. Here is the code that can be used to achieve that.
The code works recursively on the current folder and can be piped to other commands.

Few examples:

Find the files with a PSD extension

find . -type f -name "*.psd"

Find the files with a PSD extension that contain app in the filename

find . -type f -name "*.psd" | grep app

Cool stuff! Love my iTerm with tmux running on top of it!
